$NABLA
Last updated
The Nabla protocol uses two kinds of tokens aligning incentivizes for its users and contributors and to govern the protocol:
$NABLA - the utility token that is used to reward LPs and contributors of the protocol
$sNABLA - staked $NABLA is the governance token. It’s used to submit proposals and vote on key decisions regarding the protocol’s strategic direction, main parameters, and reward distribution.
First and foremost, the token conveys governance rights, granting control over key decisions. More on that in the Governance section below. Nabla will decentralize progressively over time, increasing the control of token holders over the protocol. Initially, the protocol is launched with recommended parameters that can later be adjusted by governance.
Staking Nabla tokens ($sNABLA) will unlock certain rights. In addition to the protocol governing, certain staking rewards, stakers can also propose adding new pools, rewarding certain pools, or removing a pool. This is particularly interesting for protocols that aim to bootstrap liquidity for their tokens.
